Virtual Instances

Create and manage scalable virtual machines for your compute needs.

Launching an Instance

  1. Navigate to Enterprise > Virtual Instances.
  2. Click Create Instance.
  3. Select Location: Choose a region close to your users (e.g., us-east-1, eu-central-1).
  4. Choose Image: Select your preferred OS (Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, Windows).
  5. Select Plan:
    • General Purpose: Balanced CPU/RAM for web servers.
    • Compute Optimized: High CPU performance for batch processing.
    • Memory Optimized: High RAM for databases.
    • GPU Instances: Nvidia H100/A100 for AI workloads.
  6. Configure Networking: Select a VPC and subnet.
  7. Add SSH Keys: Select your existing keypair or add a new one.

Actions

  • Start/Stop: Temporarily halt billing for compute resources (storage is still billed).
  • Reboot: Restart the instance safely.
  • Resize: Scale up CPU/RAM resources (requires restart).

Monitoring

View real-time metrics for CPU usage, Disk I/O, and Network traffic in the Monitoring tab.
